Hub Lake Championships!
The Indian Lake Swim Team finished in 2nd place at the Hub Lakes Championships this past weekend, hosted by Mountain Lakes. The last time the team finished in 2nd was back in 2011. The highest male scorer was 8 year old Brody Berrier and the highest female scorer was 12 year old Bridget Rynkiewicz. Each had two individual victories. As a team, we had 3 relay victories and 8 individual victories. Congratulations to all swimmers! ~ Kyle Plucinsky, ILCC Swim Coach
10 records were broken this weekend! Including one from 1993, one from 1986 and two from 1985!
News from the Indian Lake Women's Club
Congrats to Susan Elko, for being honored with the Dave LaMothe Award at Hub Lakes Championships. The award is presented to a volunteer who unselfishly devotes time, talent and enthusiasm to the sport of swimming.
As a fellow ILCC swim parent pointed out, Sue has helped to instruct almost every single ILCC swimmer out on the docks. Thanks for all of your hard work and dedication over the years!
