celebrates 100 years!

 

A Centennial Weekend Thank You!

 

When we were asked to chair a celebration for the 100 years of Indian Lake, we knew we couldn’t do it alone. 

There are so many people we would like to thank that helped to make the Centennial Kick-off weekend a success. 

• The Trustee’s for supporting our ideas.

• The Woman’s Club to help sponsor Mission Dance, The Gala band.

• The Men’s Club for setting up the 300 chairs and tables under the tent donating and cooking the hamburgers and hot dogs on Sunday.   More importantly though, designing and providing our Centennial beer!

• Aquatic Club for our Centennial Muck ice cream

• Bill Ryden for his countless hours designing and posting our information.

• Jeff and Heather Kemp for all of the work they have put into gathering and creating books and slideshows we will have forever and we all have enjoyed at the Museum nights. 

• To all of the members who contributed their memorabilia and family stories to Museum night, it showcases the rich history Indian Lake has. 

• Erika and Pete Pizza for designing our amazing Centennial Banner

• Fritz Motts for is countless hours documenting the weekend events.

• Karen Covello for our Centennial Flags

• Lee Mulligan for upgrading our electricity to accommodate our event. 

• Betsy Rynkiewicz for our Centennial Cakes

• Liz Lyons for our Birthday Party Cupcakes and Balloons

• Cheryl McCauley for the 100th photo picture frame.

• Sergio’s, Anthony and Sons, Indian Lake Bistro, Summit and Main Deli, Casa Bella and Denville Seafood, Joe Aguanno ILCC member,  for the wonderful food at the Gala. 

• Paul Rankin, Jeff Bertram, Bob Elko, Jeff Kemp and Noelle Tironi who kept us hydrated all weekend. 

• All of the guests who donated food to enhance the picnic on Sunday. 

• All of our volunteers who helped  set-up the Birthday party, Gala and Picnic. 

• Our future lake leaders who helped out over the weekend, Joey Cuff, Jack Bertram, Caroline Weldon and Bailey Rynkiewicz

• The Lash’s, Elko’s and Plumb’s for attending and supporting us from the beginning!

• Kelly (Schoenveld) Santos and Jaclyn (Halm) Hilty for organizing the Friday Family Birthday Party.

• Elizabeth (Fisher) McDermond for organizing the Gala

• Pete Pizza and Bob Elko for Sunday fun for the children!

 

Our entire committee who met with us to help mold this weekend into a

 “A weekend to remember with friends we will not forget”
