May • Work Weekend, Sports and Our Annual Spring Cocktail Party!

April 22, 2018

May 2018 - President's Message:

Greetings ILCC members and residents of Indian Lake!

Spring has finally arrived.  It’s safe to say that winter wore out its welcome.  Significant snow in April definitely isn’t what we’ve come to expect.  Thankfully it’s all behind us now.  Let the planting and seeding begin…hopefully we see enough rain but not too much!

As always, one of the most critically important events in May is Work Weekend and I know that our Property Trustee, Greg Kraft, will be counting on as many members as possible to volunteer their time and expertise the weekend of May 19th and 20th to work on the many projects that will help get ILCC ready for the summer.  Don’t forget, this is a volunteer driven non-profit association that can’t exist without the collective … arms, legs, hands, feet and brains…that is the ILCC Membership.  We will only continue to survive and thrive with your volunteerism.  Every individual in this club makes a difference and our turnout for Work Weekend sets the tone for the rest of the year.

In the last Crier, I mentioned that Membership enrollment is open and we’ve started early to help all the Sub-clubs and Sports ensure only members are participating.  With that said Sports Trustee, Scott Dixon, is counting on a great turnout to ensure we win another All-Around Championship.  It’s been very close the last couple years with every lake trying to push us off of our Hub Lakes Throne.  It’s for this reason I’m calling all Members and New Members to participate.  The ILCC’s amazing participation across our Sports and Sub-clubs is what makes us so great!  Come out and join in!

Speaking of joining in … the Board’s Annual Spring Cocktail Party for members and

prospective members is a great way to learn about the Club and meet your neighbors.  It takes place Saturday evening June 2nd.  Weather permitting, we will feature the extremely popular boat tours on the lake.  If you’ve never been on the lake it’s a great way to get a new perspective on our beautiful surroundings.  New members should arrive early, look for details in the Crier!  By your tickets now | Annual Spring Cocktail Party Registration |

As we gear up for the summer I hope you and your families enjoy the remainder of the Spring!

Kind regards,

Mike Gavin

ILCC President
