Friday, August 6th 

The Royal Coronation:

The royal coronation is when the newly elected prince and princess are publicly knighted King & Queen. This is done by the current King  & Queen from the previous summer. The knighting ceremony is full of a great deal of tradition and Indian Lake fanfare. This event is open to all ages. It's great fun for the kids and a wonderful chance to participate in the long standing ILCC tradition.

  • Cost of entry: $2.00 Cash

  • How to purchase tickets: At the door

  • Dress: Casual

  • Start Time: Doors open at 7:00, event starts at 7:30

  • Light refreshments are served

Saturday, August 7th

The Ball:

The ball is a semi-formal dance open to all members of the lake and their guests going into their sophomore year of high school and older. The clubhouse is transformed to fit the theme of the weekend and there is dancing, food, and a cash bar (for those over 21.) The new Royal Court is presented at 8:00 and then the party begins quickly after that. The Royal Ball is a wonderful celebration for high schoolers all the way through great grandparents.

  • Cost of Entry: $15 members/$18 non-resident guests 

    • All attendees must be going into their sophomore year of high school or older

    • High school students may bring two guests for each grown up attending with their group

  • Dress: Semi formal dress 

    • Cocktail dress for women

    • Jacket and tie for men

  • Start Time: Doors open at 7pm , Court is announced at 8pm

  • Light refreshments will be served, cash bar for those over 21 years old


Sunday, August 8th 

The Royal Parade & Picnic

The royal parade leaves the clubhouse and travels every road of the lake celebrating the new king and queen and their court. The parade also includes members from the swim & dive teams, aquatic club, junior clubs! Lakers are invited to stand outside and cheer for them as they pass by and receive candy that is sure to be thrown at onlookers! Shortly after the parade all ILCC members are invited back to the clubhouse for the royal picnic and potluck. The club provides the main dishes; just bring an appetizer, side, or dessert to share. Fun for the whole family!

  • Cost of Entry: Free!

  • How to Purchase Tickets: Not Necessary

  • Dress: Casual

  • Parade Start Time: 1:30pm

  • Pot Luck Roayl Picnic Start Time: 5:00pm

  • What to Bring: Hamburgers, hotdogs, and drinks are provided by the new king and queen and their families. So please bring your favorite pot-luck dish: an appetizer, a side dish, or a dessert.
