  • The Board would like to welcome a new Trustee this month, Beth Tecchio. Beth was instrumental in forming the Playground Committee and has served as Chairperson for some time. With all the work and effort the Playground Committee has put into improving the playgrounds at the Franklin Road Beach and the Club House, we know that Beth will be a super asset to the Board of Trustees.

I want to mention the North Shore Road and East Shore Road retaining walls.  I am aware that many members are concerned with the deterioration of the walls and the apparent lack of action on the part of the Trustees.  I can assure all members that the Trustees are well aware of the situation with the walls and very much involved in finding a solution to the problem of getting them repaired.  We have had numerous meetings and extensive conversations with the Mayor, Township Administrator, Township Engineer, Township Attorney and our representatives to the Town Council regarding repairs to the wall.  I will make a complete report on the history of the problem, the positions of the ILCC and the Township, and the Trustees’ plan to deal with the issue going forward in my August President’s Message.

Have a Safe & Happy July!

    John V. Fisher

    ILCC, President
