Men's Club "It's great to be a man" Latest News (Last updated 07/21/2008)
Well, we made it through another Fun Weekend! I would like to thank all the Men’s Club members who helped out before, during and after the event. There are too many people to list individually, but special thanks to my friends (Kevin and Mike) from Verizon Wireless for their donations of the phone and headsets. By the time you read this we will have also had the annual Pig Roast. I will go out on a limb and say everyone enjoyed themselves at this event as well. Watch for some upcoming events such as the annual Labor Day softball game between the Men’s Club and the ILCC Men’s Softball Team at Gardiner Field followed by a picnic at the Clubhouse. We will also be kicking off Monday Night Football at the Clubhouse with a Tailgate Party in the parking lot on Mon. Sept. 8th at 7pm. All are welcome for these events. Finally, preparations are in full swing for the Men’s Club Golf Outing on Friday, Sept. 26 @1PM at Bowling Green Golf Club. Brochures are circulating throughout the lake and can be picked up at the clubhouse or from any Men’s club member. Golfers, sponsors and donations are being accepted and we could also use some volunteers to help out at the course and at the clubhouse the day of the event.
